How To Transition Boots Into Spring

The first day of spring is ONLY three days away! Wow, where has the time gone? Actually, it seems as though winter has dragged on for months on end yet 2017 is flying by. How is that even possible? LOL!

With spring only days away, I’m starting to think about transitioning my wardrobe between seasons and mixing winter staples with new spring pieces.

The first month of spring still tends to be quite cool, especially in the morning. Therefore, this is a great opportunity to continue wearing some of your winter classics.

Tall boots are the perfect winter staple to transition into the early days of spring!

Here’s 3 ways to seamlessly pull together boots as the perfect accompaniment to fresh spring pieces:

Dresses & Skirts

Cute dresses and skirts are a wonderful complement to tall boots. Choose a hemline above the knee to ensure your outfit still has that spring feel. A long-sleeved dress, blouse or jacket is also a great way to balance out the proportions of the skirt and still stay warm.

Slim-Fit Denim

Dust off your white or light washed denim and pair them with tall boots for a fresh look. Light colored denim will guarantee that your outfit doesn’t look too heavy or dark for those bright, sun-shiny spring days.

Pops of Color

Add a brightly colored spring jacket or accessories, such as a scarf or handbag, to lighten up the look. Spring fashion is known for bight colors. By adding this color pop your tall boots will still look seasonal and on trend.

Happy spring!
