At-Home Upper Body Workout

I quite enjoy working out in a gym. It’s my time to mentally check out from the stresses ofΒ the day and just focus on one task at hand… challenging myself with a butt kicking workout.

However, there are times when it’s next to impossible to actually get to a gym. I aim to workout 4-5 times per week and I don’t like to miss it, so when getting to the gym isn’t an option I turn to at-home workouts that are both challenging and require minimal equipment.

Today I’m sharing one of my go-to home based upper body circuits. The only equipment needed is a resistance band.

Resistance bands allow you to perform strength training exercises when you don’t have access to weights. You can purchase different types with varied intensity, based on your strength and which muscles groups you are working. Resistance bands are also relatively cheap and easy to store. Huge bonus for all you clutter free fanatics like me! Haha

As you can see in the video below I was easily able to complete this workout right in my living room, with minimal space required.

Next time you’re tight on time, and your regularly scheduled workout isn’t an option, give this workout a try. I would love to hear what you think πŸ™‚

  14. You’ve totally inspired me as I haven’t used resistance bands in forever. I use ClassPass a couple of times a week. And then a couple other days a week I run outside. But my upper body lags behind my abs and legs in strength. So something like this is perfect on my run days!

  15. Great form on your pushups! And you make everything look so easy. Love the video.
